With the struggle to make ends meet, the local farming company become excited when a new chemical fertilizer is tested on the crops. But, when a crazy rainstorm washes the fertilizer onto a recently deceased homeless man, it brings him back to life to hunger for human flesh.
And he's not the only one.
In another part of town, a grieving son uses the fertilizer on his mother's grave, only to awaken another undead monster. As the zombie outbreak spreads, the police are put under pressure to stop the virus before it reaches the cemetery.
Filled with intense horror and dark humour, this book will take you on a wild ride through Clifton Falls, where the residents are fighting for their lives against a new enemy consisting of the rising DEAD!!

After reading the late James Herbert's RATS stories growing up, I decided to write my own version.
Could you kill a rat knowing its blood helps to heal the sick?
In a World where humans need the blood of a rat to help heal the sick, chaos unfolds when a deadly virus wipes most of them out.
In the countryside town of Aaronsville, UK, a laboratory has been set up to breed the surviving rats, but, a few years later, a change has happened within the rats. They have grown wise to humans and don't want to be caged anymore.
They escape the laboratory.
At first, the local Police think they have been stolen because of how valuable they are, but, after a farmer and his wife are mutilated in the early hours, and another farmer’s dog is found dead, the police investigate the laboratory.
It soon comes to light that the tested rats are attacking everyone in sight, but why?
Now, the police need to decide whether to recapture the rats because of their uses or kill them, but the rats fear no one as they thirst for blood.

The zombies smell the living and they are hungry for flesh.
